2130 Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard

This is new construction, a 73,000 SF, 46 unit apartment building that pushed the boundary of new residential development to above 125th Street in Harlem. The goal was to reach the middle market and provide a great product at a competitive price. On that score, we succeeded: the layouts are very well thought out, rooms are bright and sun-filled, finishes and appliances are high quality, and there’s plenty of closet space. Overall, 2130 is a very well-executed, handsome new building in an up-and-coming neighborhood.

2130 Comes Out of the Ground

Construction started in mid-summer and we got our TCO by the end of the following year, 17 months in all. This one was all about getting, and keeping, the project team on track; keeping a close eye on costs and progress; responding to changed circumstances; and bringing the job home on time.
